First Holy Communion
A historic milestone was celebrated for the Mar Thoma community in Cork as the First Holy Qurbana was conducted by Rev. Mathew Philip at the residence of Mr. Ribu Chacko in Mayfield. This service marks a significant step for the newly formed prayer group under the Nazareth Mar Thoma Church, Dublin.

First Worship at Church
Our prayer group has commenced its regular worship services at the historic St. Anne’s Church, Shandon Street. This marks a significant transition for our community as we gather in one of Cork’s most iconic sacred spaces.

Episcopal Visit
We were deeply blessed by the Episcopal Visit of our Diocesan Episcopa, Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos . During this historic occasion, His Lordship officiated the Holy Qurbana and led the First Holy Communion service for two children of our Prayer group.

Cork Mar Thoma prayer group was formally elevated to Cork Mar Thoma Congregation through an Episcopal Circular issued by Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos Episcopa.

First Holy Communion as Cork Mar Thoma Congregation
The newly constituted Cork Mar Thoma Congregation celebrated its inaugural Holy Qurbana. This historic liturgy, attended by a gathering of 118 members of the faith community.

His Grace, Euyakim Mar Coorilos Suffragan Metropolitan, Solemnized the First Holy Communion service for twenty children of Cork Mar Thoma Congregation.

Christos Mar Thoma Church
The Cork Mar Thoma congregation was formally elevated to a full Parish status by His Grace The Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan. His Grace officially designated the community as Christos Mar Thoma Church, Cork.
